i have been an avid bittorrent user for yrs

i always used to use mirc and xdcc bots but it fukn pissed me off with bots quitting and timeing out and being unreliable so i made the switch to bittorrent over a yr ago and i absoultely love it

i get bout 350mb- 1 gig plus of tv shows a day ahha

im also an avid member of elitetorrents.org and im currently a power user on the site

i just love it that u dont have to be home and monitoring what ur downloading cos u know u will get it eventually

i use azeurus as my client and its great

i also use a RSS feed importer plugin and basically i use it to scan

btefnet.net an tvtorrents.tv for my new tv shows i type a filter into azeurus

like 8.simple.rules or the.amazing.race or the.apprentice

and i can automatically download the latest tv shows without even being at home this is great for me with my unusual working times

im currently on 256k which sucks but with ADSL2 coming out and this being introudced i reckon 1.5mbit unlimited plans will drop heaps

i want to start joing the dvdr scene on elitetorrents.org and download all my movies on dvdr so yea when i eventually get 1.5mbit it will b great

A few other torrent sites have bitten the dust, more will follow :?

http://www.btefnet.net <-- the main one i was interested in.

MPAA Targets Six BitTorrent TV Sites
May 12, 2005
Thomas Mennecke

Since the MPAA began its campaign to stomp out piracy in mid-December 2004, their main priority has been BitTorrent indexing sites that distribute movie torrents. As an example of their efforts, the MPAA eradicated such torrent sites as LokiTorrent, leaving only the "You can click, but you cannot hide" catch phrase as remnants. Although the MPAA concentrated mainly on movie piracy, the MPAA has shifted gears as those who distribute TV torrents are now targeted.

In a press release issued today, the MPAA has filed lawsuits against six (6) independent BitTorrent indexing sites. This move comes as little surprise, as many of the MPAA's members also hold considerable interest in TV production as well. In addition, according to a recent survey by Envisional, TV piracy (especially on BitTorrent) as increased by 150%.

i use AZUREUS as the download manager and get all my torrents from TORRENTSPY.com to get good speeds out of it you have to open ports on your router and on your firewall or you will only get 2-3kb
out of it. When you are at torrent spy, go to the help section and they explain how to do it. It took me a week to set every thing up properly but i am not good at tech stuff, try it
