We did see a big influx of media spy.org folks, when the newer active types were more mock & set oriented over newschix fetish.(2009-2012)
The original hardcore model scanners have gone along with those mags and are more into Primary school aged kid duties with mortgage survival i guess.

The active soap fan types, with twitter & insta now have direct access to other fans & characters, without the "post slam" from older forum folks.

It is good to see old familiar names logged in viewing, at various times of day/ night, however most are lurkers, rather than active contributors.

ATM i am comparing a group of "influencers" with hits and comments, against various threads and it would seem that the future is already here with original content, getting paid to promote, interacting with followers, is a more productive use of screen time, for many 16-25 year olds, than getting involved with moderated boards.
