Just wondering, I have never felt the need to use the above companies however moving with the times, I am wondering on peoples experiences with the above or the like?

Is there better ones than the others? Whos better? Which ones do you recommend?

Any bad experiences?

I have signed up to Ubereats but havent used them yet. I am cautious.

it's nothing revolutionary - all it's done is allowed stores that wouldn't have invested in delivery to deliver.
The trick is to order from places that are close to you - but you may as well pick up yourself...
Why? I've had a few cold\lukewarm\soggy food experiences, due to the time for them to pick up, and deliver to you.
Used Uber and Deliveroo, no difference. And since the drivers\riders aren't employed by the shop, they're a little less careful with food presentation

But $5 for delivery, i'm a tight arse - would rather go get it myself.

I use EatNow religiously , cant be stuffed going out besides I'd be over the limit by tea time . I can get good chinese delivered within 30 minutes . Have 4 good pizza bars all deliver in 30 to 45 minutes . Obviously on weekends it pays to order early . Left and a few mediocre reviews and have received a few freebies . Only thing I find is it is pricey for a single person , you may have to order something extra to get to the minimum delivery value , usually just a garlic bread or bottle drink.
