Al Molinaro, who played the beloved chef at the drive-in on "Happy Days" died in a California hospital on Friday. Molinaro's son confirmed the actor's death, telling us he had very bad gall stones, but Al elected not to have surgery due to his age. He was 96. http://www.tmz.com/2015/10/30/happy-day ... inaro-dies

I'm not a big Union follower, but I know dominance when I see it: That steamroller try is one of the best ever

I was a big fan in the 90's of this band. Pity drugs fukd him up. Quote: SCOTT Weiland, the former lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots, has been found dead on a tour bus.
The Californian-born singer, 48, was touring with his band Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts when he was found dead at about 9pm on Thursday, US time, in Minnesota.
The cause of his death is not yet known but a statement released by his family said Weiland “passed away in his sleep”.

Quote: Conservationist Harry Butler dies aged 85
West Australian conservationist Harry Butler has died, aged 85.
The 1979 Australian of the Year died of cancer in a Perth hospital on Friday.
Dr Butler was presented with the Order of Australia in 2012, and was also added to the list of Australia's Living Treasures that year.
He also played a major role in the development of the Barrow Island oil and gas project, working as an environmental consultant to Chevron.
Dr Butler's son Trevor said he was still coming to terms with his father's death.
"I'm still in shock even though he's been ill, he's a real fighter and has three times defied the doctors' predictions," Mr Butler said.
"The cancer got him eventually but he told me last week when he was ready to go he was just going to go and that's basically just what he did yesterday. So he went peacefully and quickly but had quite a struggle before that.
"He had been ill for nearly two years but amazingly up until three months ago he was still messing around on the farm and driving a tractor and chopping wood.
Mr Butler said his father was a "remarkable man by anyone's standards".
"The fact he was my dad made it special for me but he was a remarkable man in many, many ways," he said.
"Part of us is relieved because he's not in pain any more. Cancer is a shocking way to die and he's going to be with the love of his life again, that's his deceased wife Maggie."

Quote: Prisoner: Cell Block H star Carol Burns has died at the age of 68.
The Australian actress passed away after a short battle with cancer in Brisbane's Princess Alexandra Hospital, ABC News reports.
Burns was best known for her role as Franky Doyle and appeared in the first 20 episodes after making her debut on the show in 1979.
The actress began her acting career as a founding member of the Queensland Theatre Company (QTC), and was a frequent performer in stage productions.
QTC's artistic director Sam Strong said: "Carol was a legend of the Australian and Queensland stage, and it is tragic that she has been taken away from the audiences she captivated, as well as from Alan [Lawrence, her husband] and her family.
"Our thoughts and sympathies are with Alan and Carol's family."

Quote: Easybeats frontman Stevie Wright dies aged 68
Stevie Wright, who fronted rock outfit The Easybeats in the 1960s and is widely regarded as Australia's first international pop star, has died at the age of 68.
The ARIA hall of famer became ill on Boxing Day and was taken to Moruya Hospital on the New South Wales south coast, where he died on Sunday night.
Wright was born in Leeds, England in 1947, and migrated to Australia at the age of nine.
In Sydney he met his fellow bandmates Harry Vanda, Dick Diamonde, George Young and Gordon Fleet.
The band's hit Friday On My Mind was a huge success, reaching number one in Australia, number six in Britain and making it into the top 20 in the US.
The Easybeats broke up in 1969 and Wright became a top solo artist with his three-part epic Evie.
Wright went on to battle drug and alcohol addiction for two decades before settling on the NSW south coast.
In 2005 Wright was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame for his success with The Easybeats.
Wright's most recent performance was at the Legends of Rock Festival at Byron Bay in 2009.
