I think those who voted for her may be confused with the concept of overall favourite celebrity as opposed to celebrity of the year. Demi in second place thoroughly deserves to be there with all the bikini shots we've seen this year. And of course, the news girls get a lot of attention and votes from all of us as usual.
And I could also reuse last year's logo! If the poll was for cutest I would have voted Emma Freedman, if it was for hottest I would have voted Sonia Kruger, if it was for celebrity of the year I would have problems, maybe Margot Robbie. But, the poll was 'Vote for your favourite' so I voted for Hex again this year... Wow sharkboi, with all the content you contribute, and therefore seen the full gamut of what Australian TV has to offer, Sonia Kruger??? I guess if you have a thing for bland, over-painted pregnant women, who annoy the shit out of people by pretending they are in a demographic 20 years younger than their age, then maybe... Perhaps we should do another poll...

I agree with wolverine in that Hex's content has been lacking a bit compared to 2013, but I am glad she beat out Natalie Barr. That stuck up plain jane, is like boner repellent for me and I couldn't stand her up on the logo.
My favs for the year were the Ford ad girl, Sally Fitzgibbon, Virginia Langeberg, Jessica Turner, Stefania Ferrario, Demi Harman, Hex and Rachael Neiberding.
A shout-out has to go out to zerohedge for best new poster. That guy is plugging away like it's his job.

Wow, you blokes put a lotta thought into this! Separating 'celebrity' from 'popular' or hottest whatever ... I gotta confess I voted for the one I'd most like ta Boof!

The 'Hex' is on telly at the mo. ABCs '2014 Pub Quiz'. Her hair's red and she looks kinda nice. Can't say I've taken much notice prior.

phunkyfeelone wrote: True, but if you didn't watch cricket, you'd also have NFI who Mel was! For the record, I don't get the Hex thing either. Mel's been around all over 10, not just the cricket. F1, swimming, Commowealth games, sport before the late night news got shafted. It's my I picked her for my vote. That, and Racahel Neiberding I don't consider a celebrity. phunkyfeelone wrote: It might be due to demographics, the 'older' people (me included) probably go for your middle age news type, whereas your younger type probably go for your teen show types. The good thing about this site is that you see people from shows you don't watch, or from interstate news shows. Just for clarity. I'm 33.

That is very interesting knowledge to me. Since I voted for Mel. And when I was younger at least, was indeed an Andrea Corr fan.
